Established on philosophy of "Performance, Commitment, Trust” the leadership opened its door for business under the name AFGI in October of 2003 as General Trading Company. Once established and respected in the local and international business community, AFGI worked diligently as a specialist supporting diverse operations with its product & services and upgraded itself in 2006 to the status of General Trading and Contracting Company.

As both the client base and requirements grew, AFGI was  accredited us a Zamil Steel Certified Builder & Supplier by ZAMIL STEEL within the same year which allowed the company to offer turnkey solutions to its clients for Pre Engineered Building requirements that led the company further into the construction industry by 2007. the companies Procurement & Logistics Departments were ISO 9001:2000 Certified and in year 2010  upgraded to ISO 9001:2008.
 

AFGI has then diversified itself with several Agency & Distributor Appointments in key sectors such as Oil and Gas, Food & Beverage and Interior Design & Furnishing to further serve the Government, Industrial and Commercial Clients.

Being proud of its achievements, AFGI continues to grow and evolve itself into a Global Market leader with the support of its dedicated staff which is lead by a team of Business Professionals, Project Managers, Engineers, Supply Chain Specialist and the dedicated leadership of its Owners.
